Application Guidelines
Substrate Preparation
1. Remove all loose, flaking, and unstable material thoroughly.
2. Wash all surfaces with clean cold water using a pressure washer to remove dirt and dust.
3. Saturate the surface including the cracks with Zycosil+ solution as a penetrative water repellent primer to ensure waterproofing. Allow to fully dry before proceeding with crack repairs. This step is STRONGLY recommended on new plasters being painted for the first time and mandatory for repainting jobs.
4. Repair defects and cracks using mineral-based compounds only.
Application Method
- Apply two coats, diluted between 20-30% with potable water, depending on the surface characteristics.
- Allow a minimum of 12 hours between the first and second coat.
- Cover surfaces that should not be painted, especially mineral surfaces like glass, stone, and ceramics.
- Ensure dilution does not exceed 30% to maintain paint properties and performance.
Consumption
Coverage: Approximately 4.6 m²/ltr (50 sq.ft./ltr) for two coats.
Note: Consumption may vary based on surface characteristics and absorbency.
Cleaning & Maintenance
Clean all equipment immediately with water after use.
Packaging & Storage
- Available in 1 ltr, 4 ltr, and 20 ltr packaging.
- Store in a cool, shaded area with a shelf life of approximately 48 months.
- Unused paint must be packed in airtight containers to minimize air exposure.
