How to Apply Drio Max: Step-by-Step Application Guide
Substrate Preparation
1. Remove all loose, flaking and unstable material
2. Clean all algae and fungus affected areas using a bleach solution or suitable biocidal solution
3. Pressure washes and clean entire surface using clean water
4. Treat all large cracks with Zycosil+ / Zycoprime+. In rain-affected areas, apply the same treatment to the entire surface, following the TDS.
6. Repair all surface defects and cracks using Zydex recommended repair compounds
8. Prime surface with Primosil Exterior
Application Method
- Dilute 30-40% with clean, potable water before application.
- Apply in two coats using a brush, roller, or suitable spray equipment.
- Allow 12 hours drying time between the first and second coat before recoating.
- Apply evenly to achieve consistent coverage. Coverage may vary depending on surface characteristics and absorbency.
- Clean all application equipment immediately with water after use.
Consumption & Coverage
- Approx. Coverage 4.6 m2 / ltr (50 sq.ft. / ltr) for 2 coats. Coverage may very depend on surface condition and application method.
- Consumption guideline is quoted for smooth surfaces with normal absorbency. Actual consumption may vary substantially based on surface characteristics.
Cleaning & Maintenance
- Clean all equipment immediately with water after use

- Pack Sizes: 20L, 4L & 1L
- Shelf Life: Approx. 48 months when stored in a cool, shaded area. Unused paint should be stored in smaller airtight containers
