Application Guidelines
Substrate Preparation
1. Ensure the surface is sound, solid, clean, and free of dust or grease.
2. For repainted surfaces, sand the existing paint to roughen it, clean the surface thoroughly, and apply one coat of Zydex Premium Wall Primer.
3. For fresh surfaces, level the substrate using white cement or acrylic-based putty.
4. Apply one coat of Zydex Premium Wall Primer before painting.
5. Fill defects and cracks with a suitable repair compound and allow them to dry completely.
Application Method
- Coats: Apply Marvella as a two-coat system.
- Dilution: Dilute with water at 20–30%. Do not exceed 30% dilution, as it may affect the final film properties.
- Drying Time: Maintain a minimum gap of 4 hours between coats.
- Precaution: Cover all surfaces not intended for painting to prevent accidental staining.
Consumption
Approximately 7.5 m²/litre (80 sq.ft./litre) for two coats.
Note: Consumption may vary based on surface characteristics and absorbency. Applicators are responsible for ensuring accurate application.
Cleaning of Equipment
Wash brushes and rollers immediately with water after use.
Packaging and Storage
- Available Sizes: 1 litre, 4 litres, 20 litres.
- Shelf Life: Approximately 48 months when stored in a cool, shaded area. Seal unused paint in airtight containers to minimize air exposure.
